ADD ...the religion most of us are is Christianity...baptist ,is the denomination.

Christianity...the religion

The Churches& Denonmination under the religion of Christianity are....

Baptist
Assembly of God
etc. etc. etc.

I don't claim any certain one A.D.D.
I consider myself a Christian ....I do believe. There are things I like about most of them.

Episcopal...love the quiet reverence and the weekly communion. Left because of the serious carnality and support of Gay churches in the northern states.

Church of Christ..love there simplicity of church gatherings and finances. The ones I grew up as a child were very anti other churches. That's the part I'm not crazy about. This can very from state to state.

Baptist..love Billy Graham and have heard some serious great speakers. Have a hard time with their eternal security message. IMHO Love there focus on getting folks saved.

Nazerine.. Too much emphasis on external holiness such as rings, smoking etc. I was close to the pastor though and loved his zeal to street witness. We were a great team till he went on the mission field.

Methodist..love the openess they gave me. Peole are like hungry birds waiting to be fed. The shame...many of the pastors don't have anything to feed them with. A far cry from John Wesley the founder. They have many programs but nothing can replace the power of God's Spirit.

Assembly of God..I recently checked out our local six. I reckon God has laid it on all six pastors to preach on the same thing.Fact is they have been preaching on this message for years.MONEY..Good stuff. I learned to read my Bible and Study in the AG church. I have met some saints in the church. I learned about healing in that church...but the immitation of spiritual gifts and manipulation of money drove me away.

In conclusion...I am a conservatist Christian that believes God is not bound by dispensations and we can take Him at His Word.He is the same yesterday , today and forever. I believe one must be baptized by emmersion and I strive to take communion weekly even if we have to at our own home. ADD Sometimes I listen to a great Southern Baptist preacher and sometimes my family sings hymns and have church at home .Where 2 or 3 are gathered together there He is in the midst. We have daily Bible studies every morning and pray. When we skip ,this we are guaranteed to have a lousy day.
I only responded to the churches I've attended. I also attended Church of God. They are very similiar to Assembly of God but more emphasis on outward appearance. They do seem a little more serious. Brother, denonminations cause divisions amongst us and I hate to say I'm anything. If I had to lean toward one I would have to be called a pentecostal but I don't plan to ever step foot in one again.

Baptized Catholic but find Episcopal to be a better fit (my wife's church). We baptized all 3 girls in the Episcopal Church. I enjoy following a religion without all the stringent rules. It seems more natural to me and I enjoy church again. But more than affiliation with a particular church I view my faith as a one to one partnership with God. I try to live the Golden Rule.

I'm a Protestant Christian by religion.

Assembly of God by denomination.

Blood bought and saved by the grace of God.
