Update on Strut's wife.

Well I was all psyched up to let this forum go till Oct.1st but Strut wants me to keep you folks updated.

The following is from Strut who told me to post.

" Please pray for the family whom the good liver came from. Obviously someone lost a family member. The liver came from Topeka, Kansas in which Shirley's doctor flew out there to pick the liver up .Shirley will be in Intensive Care for 10 days and then 4 more weeks of monitoring. Strut was a little broken up as he toldhow he feared this daybut said the peace of God was very strong and kept him though the whole ordeal. We thank God for that. The doctors are very pleased so far at what they see.

I've been waiting for that report all day... Glory to God!!! We still must remember that in all this joy someone is huring as they have lost a loved one..

LOL I was frantic . I tried posting and no matter how many times I logged on it kept putting me in as a guest. I had 5 minutes so I called you and got an answering machine...I called Reb and got a " Number no longer in use." I know this was very serious to Randy so I wanted desparately to get this posted. Then I tried one more time and it went through. Good to hear you again though Rev..enen if it was an answering machine. [8D]

Thanks for posting the update Chuck. Don't beat yourself up about posting especially on this forum. Doing the right thing is alwaysproper and you know that. You are serving God by helping Strut pass the word. Prayers for her and all the rest of you messengers of God.

Strut just called. Shirley is up walking around. Finances will be the next prayer request. .Strut wouldn't want me to say that but as a Christian brother I feel I have too. He is staying with Shirley and not getting paid.

I talked with Shirley and she sounds chipper and sweet as always.

That is excellent news that she is up and around. I have a cousin that had a kidney transplant almost 20 years ago and she's in very good health. I pray Shirley will have many more years of service to the Lord.
