Remember a while ago I said I sensed the government is taking over the schools. I've been feeling a real serious oppression. If you got time listen to this video. It's flat out scary.
1.The country has the power to march into every school and mandate what will be taught and WHO will be teaching it....ok....why can't they regulate that same power over th eporn and violence that is shown on the computer and TV. Why...because Satan has taken over our country. As the last phrase of the video has said." We have been hijacked by our own country."

My dear friends...I've been telling you with all earnestness that the time is nigh. When our Christian nation has gone through a Bill Clinton { And only winlked at} and {if the facts shown on this video are true.} than we are in trouble. I wish someone could persuade me that they were not true...butI think you would have a hard time. It's time to divorce yourself from the trust and love of this world and completely and wholly trust in the lordship of Jesus Christ for your salvation . Our nation is not a godly nation. Trust me ..5 years ago we teachers were given a memo from the Federal Government not to wear any Christian pins or symbols , not to pray in school and discuss Christianity. Of course the schools are filled with Christains and we did anyway. Now the government for Polk County alone has labeled 24,000 teachers as failing teachers and may let them go next year and exchange them for government teachers. My friend I feel an oppressive hand choking out Christianity and the abominatons of hell filling our nation's mind with garbage through the use of computer, certain music, TV.,video games,carnal churchesand false philosopjies of the anti christ.
In Summary...."Come out from amongstthem and abide in the Lord." It's all garbage. Cling to Jesus not your religion. The poison has spread like an epidemic. Guard your hearts. Stay in his Word and walk in obedience.

I'm pleased the your aware,but surprised that you dont know that governments that stand in oppression to gods government are going to do just that. it will even come to the point that all religion will be done away with.
in a democracy the people are the government. something is going to happen that is so profoundly agonizing to the people that there will be a hatred to remove her. and it wouldn't surprise me for it to be anact of law.
Amen Reb...It really surprized me becasue I've alwways seen our country as one nation under God. The truth is.. that there are some highly gifted minds who are using their gift for fifthy lucre / power instead of the benefit of humanity. You wonder where such devious wisdom comes from..certainly not from God. Actually this year has caused me to spiritually sober up as never before and a sixth sense of discernment is being developed . Did someone hear a trumpet??
Chuck I wholeheartedly agree with you that satan is very much having his way in all areas of our society. We are called to be a seperate people. If I were a teacher I would probably ask that the Lord place me in a school that is open to include christian instruction.
But now, I don't think the feds are coming down on your school to persecute christians, but because your school isn't meeting the educational standards set forth for all schools. This is the fault of your districts superintendant, school boards, administrators, and not the least, . .but the teachers.
Looking at the Polk County school districts stats it is obvious that their missing the mark. I'm sure your a very compassionate, able, teacher, and it seems that you are able to be a witness at your school. I would be part of the solution and be an encouragement to other teachers. You guys are going to have to get those test scores up for the benifit of your students and to keep what you have there.
This will take individual assessment and accountability as well as team effort. I'll be praying for your school and your faculty.

As far as the school.I've already found favor with the principals by simply smiling and doing everything I'm ask and on time. There are many grumblers and they will be dealt with I'm sure. The Word tells us to do our job as unto the Lord...no matter if our boss is saved or not.I have no problem with that.

Bro.Mac, I mentioned this before in the Political Forum.
Polk county is the states largest on migrants and 60% of the states Lotto monies goes to the Polk county school district. Also Polk county is the nations biggest Methenfedimine producer in the nation, not counting Marijuana and Cocaine.
First, the school district has to employ many bilingual teachers aides. Many children are kept out of school on different days to help in the fields. Second, many,many parents don't speak English and there fore can not help their children with school work at home. Third, Many children of Anglo and Hispanic parents are born with substance abuse syndrome. Meth and all drug usesare big in Polk county.
I have to give Chuck much credit for the concern he has with his students and trying to cope with all that teachers have to go through in Polk County!
It's a catch 22 on the matter!
EDIT: Polkcounty was made by the government to remove a monument with the 10 Commandments on it!
