"When we listen to those who are in a church or congregation that are associated with some form of Charismatic practice, it may seem that the Holy Spirit is more active in their lives. They claim to love the Lord and this is a Biblical way they can worship God. But the activity these charismatics practice involve supernatural acts. For example, Some claim that they have been "slain in the Spirit", that is, they fell backward without being touched while others pray around them, often a priest. Others claim to receive "Heavenly messages" through a dream they had or a vision (many of these are then interpreted to share their meaning with others). And then there is "speaking in tongues". People pray/communicate to God and/or are given a special message from God. Another person then must be given a "Heavenly interpretation" to tell the others what just was uttered. All of this, they claim is the work of the Holy Spirit. Not only that but when you do these acts you are showing evidence that the Holy Spirit indwells in you (you are Saved). Well, the fact is, none of this is what they claim. If there is any supernatural activity, it is the work of Satan. We already see this in this world today. The secluar world is full of psychics, tarot cards, runes, ouija boards that break into the supernatural. And as the Bible tells us, we know that Satan will come as an angel of light to those who profess Christ as their Saviour in the churches and local congregations."
He lied, but is OK, he is eternaly protected, lies don't count as sin.
I thought all liars will have their place in the lake of fire.
Interesting topic this would be...Can we bring the easter bunny and santa into this??? Could we all be saved on this because the days of Jesus birthday and passover are not the days it happened that we celebrate these things????
I thought there was snow around the manger in Bethlehem?
