1Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
6But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Hebrews 8:1-7
If there could have been another way to come to God without the suffering of His Son upon the cross, God would have found a way. But there was nothing that could be done unless the sacrifice could be found that met the plans laid out by God. Only One individual could meet that , Jesus Christ. I don"™t know about you, but I still do not fully understand what God has done for each of us. His Son was born that He might die. And His death would be for such as me and you.. Then He takes up the chore of being the Mediator between man and God. Now Jesus can not do this work with a half heart, but goes at this work for mankind as He lived upon the earth. You and I could have no better One to intercede for us, but you first must be part of the family of God. Otherwise there is nothing that can be done for us. God has laid out the requirements and as His creation, we must follow those rules. Jesus is the Only Way to God and there is no other. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
I ask you today Christian, how is your faith? can you Look to Him and allow Him to have complete control of your life. you know only God can heal a broken heart, but you must give him all the pieces..You can be in no better hands than His!
