I havethe reputation in my unit of being the holy rollin' christian, doesn't bother me though.
One day a few weeks ago I was sitting in my NCOIC's office and the bible came up. She started telling me of her mother that takes bible courses just to debate against it. Anyway, my nco said that one of her arguments was about the Ark that Noah built, how whileNoah was building it, the arkstarted to fall and a man walking by stuck out his hand to stop it from falling and God struck him dead. She asked, "what would've happened if he wouldn't have stopped it from falling"?
After she finished talking, I looked at her I guess with my mouth gapped open wide because she asked what was wrong. Icouldn't help but to chuckle inside. Itold her that her mother hadher stories crossed, yes Noah did build the Arkbut the Ark of Gods covenent was what the mantouched when he was struck dead by God, they were two seperate stories and told her where they were.
I guess I shouldn't find it funny when people try to sound educated about the bible when in fact they have no idea of the power that is within.
