When Jesus in the Flesh came upon the scene, there was a strong, and powerful religous machine in place in Judea. There was a great temple, much trappings, and many men dressed in fine garbs, that sat in the nicest places, and head sway over the people with their doctrines, and rituals.
Though they heard of a Saviour that would come from a place of humble means, they really never focused on it, for in their religion, they had that they could ever want. They had prestige, they had the admiration of men, they had the cheif seats, fine garments, and most of all, they held sway over the people. They taught that salvation was based upon a man's works, and that that salvation could be lost, if the people did not follow their rules, and decrees. The took great pride in the lineage, and their Jewishness. They wore it like a crown, and looked down on the non Jewish people, as little more than animals. In their religion, they had all they ever needed. Their public displays of worship, and open prayer boasted their worth, and helped to sell their "Godliness" to the people.
Then one day an average looking man, donned in average clothes began to teach in their town, a Gospel message. In that message He declared that Salvation was not of man. He taught that Salvation was not gained by man's works, or temple attendance. He taught that with the coming of the New High Priest, man would no longer need religous leaders to connect him with God. He taught that a mans race, or blood lines meant nothing, going so far as to elevate people that the Jewish leaders saw as animals, to the same position as themselves.
He taught that everyman should earn his keep, and that no man should assume titles for himself, or place himself above his fellow man. This great Teacher so believed this, that He never stood on a pulpit , or podeum to preach, but rather he sat at the feet of His Disciples, in a sign of servatude. He taught His students that they were in time to be free of the bondage of law, and tithes, and sabbaths, and public prayer, and chanting. Above all, He taught, and proclaimed that Salvation was given to man simply based on the Good Will, and Pleasure of God, and that only through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ could it be secured.
For that, He was Killed, and to this day, His Children have been hunted down, and targeted, mocked, hated, imprisoned, and killed for daring to question the murderous institutions of man made religion. So you call yourself a Christian???
Do you truely believe that your Salvation was based upon Gods Freewill???. Do you believe that your Salvation is eternal, and secure in Heaven for you????.........Or do you believe that you were saved because of what you did????, and that by something you do, or do not do, you could become unsaved???
If you answered yes to the former, than Praise God dear Child, but if you answered to the latter, understand that you are the member of a synagouge that the ancient Pharisees were members of, and that your religion will not only kill others, but in time, it will kill you. Let every true believer pray God for Mercy, that all men should come into knowledge of Him, if it be His Will!!!
You start right on target, but end up in left field. You start with "HIM" as the focal point, but end up with "my doctrine" as the focal point and He is lost along the way.

Now Snooky, you should not lie....Nowhere in my post did I state "my" doctrine. However, I did preach the Word of God, and just because I support it, it does not make it mine. I think the post just got you thinking about how close your religion is, with that of the Pharisees, and naturally you attack the messenger.
If it is the word of God, why don't you do a bible study on it and show us from the scripture where it is taught as you are presenting it? It would be very interesting.
