Friends,
Today can hardly be called a normal day. We arose at 7:15 am after an undisturbed night and within 15 mins the warning sirens were sounding and we went to the room we consider to be the safest. It transpired that the rockets didn"™t fall in Haifa this time.
The Patriot missiles located around Haifa are not capable of destroying the missiles that Hizbollah is currently throwing at us (it is more intended for the longer range missiles if the Hizbollah ever decide to use them to attack Tel Aviv.). The system is in place to allow the warning sirens to be activated giving us 30 secs to get somewhere safe.
Speaking to one of our friends with young children, one aged 7 and twins aged 5, she told us she is leaving Haifa for the time being as it is proving impossible to keep the children occupied indoors the whole time. I think of friends in Nahariya who have no choice but to be in shelters. See in the photo below:-

Someone is really protecting us if we count the number of near misses in relation to the number of missiles thrown at us, approx 1200 in 6 days. This is a war of the type that has not been fought before since over 95% of the attacks are against civilians, in their homes, their places of work and even hospitals (one was hit earlier this week).
There is a constant diatribe from the world"™s press and TV on the subject of proportionality. They don"™t want to see the dirty tricks campaign by the Hizbollah in utilizing Lebanese civilians as human shields and their homes to store and launch rockets into Israel. Then when we go to hit the terrorists it is almost impossible to totally avoid civilian casualties, no matter how much one tries.
It seems Syria and Iran are unlikely to enter the fray. Messages intercepted by the army quote both Syria and Iran as asking Nazrallah to be strong but stating their intention not to get involved.

In this morning"™s paper, there is an article about a doctor in Beirut contacting an Israeli doctor at Haifa"™s Rambam hospital to ask for more information about a new surgical treatment the Israeli doctor has developed. The Lebanese doctor didn"™t discuss the war or politics. "śWe have to disconnect, somehow from the situation, even though it is not easy, as we both see suffering populations"ť, said the Rambam doctor.
Oh, and by the way there have been another 3 attacks in Haifa since first thing this morning, one destroying a house in Haifa but fortunately, only two people lighly injured.
On a lighter note, we have been receiving so many phone calls to check that we are safe and some from people we haven"™t spoken to in years.

Thank you guys, The old curses and blessings of YHWV are still active, You guys who love Israel will be blessed abundantly, and those who hate Israel will be cursed forever.
I onced had an experience on this subject, I had a man walk up to me in Miami Beach as I was coming out of a temple, and he asked me Are you Jewish ?I said yes and at the same time got close to him, thinking he might want to do something against me, I wasn't going to stand by and let him hurt me ,I thought.
He proceeded to get on his knees and said,sir" Am a christian I said good", he said sobbing and teared eye,but I have always hated Jews, I was taught they Killed my Jesus and i never took the time to really get informed ,I just hated you guys.
Then One day I cursed this little old jew who worked at a Jewelry store and he said something in Hebrew or Yiddish I don't know, Another Jew translated what the old man said, he said ,"The curse of Abraham be upon your head", so I laughed and left the Jewelry store, proud that I had cursed one of the killers of Jesus.
But I got curious about this and I asked around and found a young Jew who worked for me, he explained that God's blessings to abraham were financial so God's curse against those who speak ill of Israel is also finnacial, after all I was succesful businessman, I laughed off and also fired that young Jew for being a Jew even when he was my best salesman.
By now the guy is crying outloud on the sidewalk the Jews member of the temple gather around us and listened in.
He proceeded to say, I lost everything I had within one week, i had a very large company in NY in the stock and bonds business, was making millions of dollars every year, then all of the sudden the IRS audited me, they froze my accets , my wife I found with another man, my vehicles were repossed , my son said he was going to live with another man and was having a gay wedding, my daughter caught an infection that has spread all over her body and is in a coma.
By now the head Rabbi was standing by him ,trying to console the man.
He asked the man what can we do for you ? He said please release me from Abraham's curse, I know I did wrong I was ignorant even that Jesus was a Jew, I just hated Jews because they Killed him, not realising by his death I can be saved, that he was a gift from Father God to pay for humanity's sins.
A lot of the Jews were startled by this confession, the Rabbi said very wisely, we do not believe in that Jesus as Messiah but we do believe we are protected by God and his blessings to abraham and to us are true and so are his curses.
The man said I was told by another person in order to lift the curse I need to ask for forgiveness from a Jew, and that is what Am seeking here"Can I ask you to ask Your God to forgive me.
Just about all around him Grabbed him by the arms and picked him up and hugged the guy and smiled at him and one by one said "I forgive you" Bless be your home, your business for the rest of your life.
I walked withhim backed to his car and then we stopped at a cafe and had coffee and I confessed I was Christian also, but do gather with my bretheren and tried and bring them to Jesus.
Then I went through all the scriptures concerning Israel and how Jesus had to died by their hands, something he already realised.
To make the story short, this man's accets were released by The IRS He was able to start his business again, and married a pastor's daughter, Today he goes to my uncle's church and his offerings every sunday exceed $5000, plus he became a partners in the Jewish Christian Fellowship and send hundreds of thousands of dollars to israel's poor.
So beware anyone who has cursed Israel or mocked a Jew, when you see your finnances going downhill, then you should be aware why.
You have received the Curse of God,upon your head.
" I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you"
so saith the Lord.
