Here Is A mystery for you, in these verses it is Eliakim to whom God gives the throne of David or so it appears, can you find a reasonable explanation for this ? souldn't it say to Yeshua son of Joseph ?
(Isa 22:20-25 KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: {21} And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. {22} And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. {23} And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house. {24} And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. {25} In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Eliakim means "śGod establishes."ť If we really know God, we should be able to see God and how He establishes. That places responsibility on my shoulders, and also on yours, to ensure that we allow God to establish Himself in our lives. He wants to rule us and be our Father.

Yep! I stand corrected!
Eliakim
Meaning: whom God will raise up
The nane of four biblical men...
(1.) The son of Melea (Luke 3:30), and probably grandson of Nathan.
(2.) The son of Abiud, of the posterity of Zerubbabel (Matt. 1:13).
(3.) The son of Hilkiah, who was sent to receive the message of the invading Assyrians and report it to Isaiah (2 Kings 18:18; 19:2; Isa. 36:3; 37:2). In his office as governor of the palace of Hezekiah he succeeded Shebna (Isa. 22:15-25). He was a good man (Isa. 22:20; 2 Kings 18:37), and had a splendid and honorable career.
(4.) The original name of Jehoiakim, king of Judah (2 Kings 23:34). He was the son of Josiah.

OK since you guys are going around in Circles, you are not grabbing the hebrew concept here it is.Eliakim= Whom God has lifted or raised, could also be translated whom God has resurrected.Hilkiah= A Portion Of YHWV, Part Of Yahwv, or a piece grom GodSo Using all words in English this is what we read when we read it in hebrew.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant to be raised (from the dead) the Son or part Of Yahwv: And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place( Nailed to the cross); and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house. And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed( taken down from the cross), and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off( He placed all the burden of Sin Upon Him): for the LORD hath spoken it. (Isa 22:20-25 KJV)
Now ! If we go To the geneology of Yeshua In Matthew 1, whom do we find as 9 generations back from Yeshuah ?
13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
So Literally Yeshua is called the Son Of YHWV.
Interesting huh?

The Kingdom of God is the House of David, which is the result of an oath the Lord made to King David. The keys of the Kingdom belong to one who rules in the place of the King, as a Vicar. Such an office is passed down to whomever God chooses. Just as Eliakim and his successors were fathers to the first Jerusalem, St. Peter and his successors are fathers to the New Jerusalem, the Church. In the Old Covenant Kingdom, God passed down the keys through heredity until he found the bearer unworthy. In the New Covenant Kingdom, the Church, God has ruled through the Church to pass the keys down to Peter's successors who lead the church at Rome.

While Shebna was still "over the house," the prophet Isaiah foretold that he would be ripped from this position and be replaced by Eliakim, whom Jehovah calls "my servant." The transfer was to be made by clothing Eliakim with Shebna"™s official robe and sash. Also, "the key of the house of David" was to be placed upon Eliakim"™s shoulder, suggesting that he would be entrusted with the oversight of the king"™s chambers and the authority to decide who might be accepted into the service of the king."”Isa 22:15-24.
Acting in this official capacity, Eliakim, Shebna the secretary, and Joah, apparently the recorder, came out to speak with Rabshakeh, who had come to Jerusalem with a heavy military force to demand the surrender of the city. Then, with garments ripped apart, the three of them reported the words of Sennacherib"™s spokesmen to King Hezekiah, who, in turn, proceeded to send Eliakim, Shebna, and the older men of the priests to Isaiah to make inquiry of Jehovah."”Isa 36:11, 22; 37:1, 2; 2Ki 18:17, 18, 26, 36, 37; 19:1, 2.
Pardon me Cataway didn't know you were a hebrew scholar and also understood Bible codes.
Can you tell me what it says in Hebrew in Isaiah Chapter 53 beginning with the first letter reading from left to right atskips of 22 letters ? then beginning with the second letter at skips of 20 letters ?
I await your respond.
Shalom
