Was Satan created perfect? I know he, like Adam was created sinless.
As a definition of perfect, I will use "Flawless"?
A further definition might be: If it is perfect, then it is fail-proof or that perfect CAN NOT sin.
I say this last definition is flawed because God is perfect. If God chose to not fulfill a promise, then he could sin. God has made the choice to fulfill his promises.
God is perfect because he chooses to be, he chooses to keep his word.
God has free-will just as his creation does. He could choose to not have died on the cross.
Ponder all of that and then answer me this:
Was Satan created perfect or just sinless?
Thanks

Notice Ezekiel 28:14-15: "Thou [Lucifer] art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I [God] have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created"." Two things to notice: Lucifer was created by God, and he was created perfect. Lucifer had great knowledge, understanding and wisdom. He was the greatest being God could create by fiat. The rest of verse 15 continues, "till iniquity [or lawlessness] was found in thee." So this great being"the greatest being God could possibly create by fiat"who was taught at the very throne of God, sinned and rebelled against God. How could that have happened? God certainly didn"t create an evil devil. He created a perfect, beautiful archangel"Lucifer.

That would sound right. He was an angel. Only man is born with origional sin. An angel would not be created with sin. But it also sounds right that he would be capable of sin, or else he would not have rejected God.

...OR.....
Lucifer was created specificly for the purpose he used at....just like Judas Iscariot...he was "created for a time such as this". The Bible plainly states that Lucifer had Pride "found" in him....ummmm,ok...who put it there?why was pride created at all, if not for a purpose....
1/3 the angels left with Satan....hmmm what a coincidence....that Satans' "foe" is also 1/3 of the Godhead....I don't believe in coincidences. all was predestined from the beginning of time.. or more plainly, before there WERE angels.........

Of course I do not believe the doctrine of original sin, because there is too much evidence against it,but the point is very clear, Satan had a choice, if he hadn't done it, another one would have. Just like men, if one of us fails to become all we should in the "RIGHT" way, another one will step up and take the challenge.
