Outdoor Expo in S/E NC trying to start a local chapter of COFA
Hey, I was in the South forum and I came across NC hunter's post about a Outdoor expo in S/E NC. NC hunter is trying to get a local chapter of COFA started in his area.Your generosity would be appreciated, yall should go and check it out here is some of it below. Thanks, bc buck
OK Here it is,we are trying to to get a local chapter of COFA (Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America) http://www.cofausa.org up and running locally check out their website. They/we try to reach lost souls through a common interest/love of the outdoors without being pushy. We could use all the help we can get as a visitor, vendor or volunteer. (Hmm 3 V's needed) or sponsor. Tickets are reasonable $3 at the gate, booths are cheap call us. We are not looking to make big profits but just enough to get some outdoor outreach programs going. There will be a COFA booth for those that want to get involved in these much needed programs.
Hopr this is OK to post Thank You

Hey guys this is a great organization. I am an occasional writer for COFA Magazine "When I have interesting stories" [:@].. If I lived closer I would surely get involved with them and try to start a local chapter there... Good Christian leadership. I recommend them highly!

I wish I could do more. However living in Texas it's hard to do things.
Once people get involved with COFA they will find out what a good thing that is.. Mike Brooks has done an awesome job putting COFA together.. I wish I could make the Co. Elk hunting trip in Oct., but I am not sure about my work schedule.
Let me know if I can help.

Hi Rebel: Great questions, COFA's events are open to anyone that wants to attend, we don't discourage anyone. Our leaders are solid believers who know the word, we follow the word of God by the book. So many are searching for truth and a purpose to belong. When the gospel is shared with non believers at a COFA event, they can expect the word to be given by a peer in a non threatening way, we believe in building relationships before giving the word, how do we do this? By getting to know the person during the event. They need to know you before they will trust and listen to you, and that's why COFA works so well in outdoor ministry.
If your interested in getting involved with COFA call Mike Brooks at 303.456.0555, they have some incredible events for hunters, fishermen/women, camping, hiking, 4-wheelers, and many more, COFA wants family's to enjoy the outdoors together and hosts events for family's.Manychurches across the country are wanting COFA to help them reach out to the outdoor enthusiasts in their neighborhoods and communities.
So, if you have any questions please call me, or e-mail me at mbrooks33@aol.com
