Thanks Fellows,
That was very thoughtful. Reb, my wife and I are thinking about moving Do you know anything about Indian Lake Estates.Near Lake WalesIt's on the best bass lakes in Polk County..Lake Walk in the water .LOT'S of 10 pounders. We have a principal who is interviewing my wife and I Wed. We really could use some prayers. I'm a really simple type guy and do not need all the frills. But I also don't like to miss a great opportunity.

Positives

1. We plan to get a decent sized house so we could take in one of you guys for a possible hunt / fish swap.

2, It has a guarded gates and no boom boxes or rowdy folks are allowed.

3. It is close to 4 wildlife management areas to hunt in

4. The lots are all 1/2 acre lots

A decent home and lot about 175.000

5. My wife's rational..We have to stay here anyway for 10 years before we can retire..why not live in sopmething nice. Then if we still want we can resell and move to Missouri

6. Has 3 churches and 121 miles of roads.

7. Has a beach , restaurants etc.

8.18 hole gulf course.

9. Tennis courts

10 Bingo , pool you name it.

Most are retired so many homes are empty for 6 months
Negative.

1. Don't know about flooding down there.

2. You have to pay 150. a year for associate fee. I kind of like it when I can cut my grass when I want to .Don't like rules.

3. I would need to update my little boat. The lake is about the size of the Sea of Galilee

4. Flat out scary....to move
My son wants to buy our house but I'm concerned FHA will find lot's of stuff I got to fix.

My wife and I are going to Indian Lakes tomoorow just to browse and ask questions.

Here is an excerpt from a Florida magazine concerning the area.
Lake Walk-In-Water certainly has its share of 10-pound and above bass. However, most bass caught will vary from two to four pounds, with a liberal number of five to seven pounders mixed in for good measure. A particularly pleasing bonus for those fishing here is the impressive number and size of chain pickerel. One Florida writer who recently fished Lake Walk-In-Water with a pair of tournament competitors said his trio "accumulated more chain pickerel in one day than I've ever seen."
Seems that in addition to catching and releasing 62 bass between two and six pounds that day, they also connected with 18 chain pickerel that scaled between two and five pounds.
Others pluses include copious and healthy black crappie, bluegill, shellcracker and catfish. The roster of forage fish encompass the shiner, shad, killifish, silversides and glass minnows. Grass shrimp and eels also contribute to a varied gamefish menu.

Thanks PK,
I'm doing my best walking n faith. I laid a fleece before the Lord yesterday. Most principals do not like the man and wife working in the same school. I said to my wife let's apply at at aschool close by and if the principal hires us both we will except that from the Lord. Well guess what, we recieved an E-mail today and he wants to interview us both Wed. at 9:00 AM. That has me scratching my head. I'm now in the shut up mode and listen. I really want God's will in this thing. Thanks for the encouraging words.

No bro., I don't. I use to hunt hogs inLakes Wales back in the 70's. There are some big hogs there. I shot a 300 pd sow while sitting on an oak tree branch, no tree stand. We use to stop at the WalMart in Lake Wales while traveling to Three Lakes. Man, that was a hunters WalMart back in the 90's. You name it, they had it in the hunting section.

Chuck, I sincerely wish you and your's the best on your decisions and new home and may the Lord bless it.

Thanks brothers,

This reminds me of Rockwell's post a little while back about knowing God's will. There is a lot involved.....and a whole lot does do with feelings. Common sense is a factor,,faith certainly is a factor ..remember Abraham.
Favor withthose involved with your circumstance is involved...your motives are a big factor. For me...being still to sort out all the thoughts is extremely important. Will the change cause me to backslide or grow deeper toward God.?? Will the change cause me to be in bondage to money and my job? It's starting to look clearer now but like a wise buck I still got both ears up and I'm moving slow toward what appears to be a blessing. I sense someone has been praying for me because I now have peace where there was once serious confusion. Thank you very much.
Alex....thanks for wishing me a happy birthday my friend.
