It seems todays date is causing some little stir among some folk. Liz and I have had a couple of phone calls asking us to pray for today.
I heard on the news this morning that folks on the coast are selling and wearing 666 t-shirts, and also coffee mugs with the 666 on them.

Leaf some people do tend to freak out over this, in reality the real worry if there was one would have happened 2,000 years ago, todays date is 6/6/2006.

I agree Taz, for one thing I don't see where there is any significance to the date anyway.

So it is 6-6-06 ? So what ? The bible was not written under the Gregorian Calendar so 666 does not mean anything in the calendar at all. That has being my response today in at least 6 TV interviews for local TV stations.

I know it was a busier than normal night last night. And NO, I don't place any special significance on the date, but it DID cross my mind a few times that terrorists or some maniac could use the 666 as a good time to "pull the trigger" so to speak. I know I don't like writing three 6's in a row - even though I'm not doing anything wrong -- but I had to do just that COUNTLESS times last night!

Hey, I heard that the number 666 is a mistranslation anyway. I thought the real number was 616 and that the media and hollywood just wouldn't let it die?

By the way, I heard on the radio that there is a town named "Hell". I think it was in Penn. but I'm not sure. The mayor was on the radio joking about how they had built a special chapel for this date and have T-shirts for couples that say "My marriage started in Hell." I thought that was pretty funny.
