Ok, I am almost thru the Old Test. I have covered the beginning, Levitical Law, Moses takin the Jews to the promise land, bunch of kings, most very bad, but a few great ones, and have went thru Isaiah, Jerimiah, and Ezekel, and Daniel to hear about whats going to happen to the Jews. When do I get to the part about the Jews coming out of Babylon, and rebuilding and the Glory days again? Maybe I am understanding the prophesy's wrong, but it appears the prophets tell us God is gather up his people and there would be one nation.
Second Question, I know Herods Temple was built little before Jesus Christ birth, wasn't the Romans in control at that time? Why did the Romans have to "take" Jeruselum, if they were already in control little after Jesus Christ reserrection?

YES THE GATHERING HAS BEGUN ONCE AND FOR THE LAST TIME, my advise is read the books of Macabees so you can understand what happened after Jesus ascended and the rebelion of Judah Macabee, and the destruction of the temple, Herod remodeled the temple and made it bigger.
Shalom
You then will understand how the church has manipulated prophecies that are already fulfilled and transpose them to the future, such as the 49 weeks of Daniel which were all prophecied by Jesus also and happened in 70 AD.

Is any of the writings of Josephus explain anything?
Another thing I wondered. When Jesus Christ was crucified, I read that the curtain was torn and an earthquake took place. Is there any records other than the New Testiment, like Jewish records that records such an account? I hear the curtain was monsterous, and you would figure someone would record this in history. But maybe the pharisees wouldn't want it to get out? Just curious.
Josephus is a good eye witness source , for the times as he was alive, but so was the author of the macabee's books.
Am not sure there are any other books that speak of the curtain in the holy of holiest being torned, I will check around and see.
I don't see why the Pharasees would want to keep it secret, you see most things related to Yeshua was no of any importance to them, if anything was changed it was hundreds of years after the Apostles were dead, the only thing that was changed after wards in the european community about 300 AD was the Letter Tav which is the last letter of the alephbet, because it had the shape of a crooked cross, tav is the last letter of the alphabet, so we know that it had a significance in Christianity, we believe the the Revelations of Jesus Christ to John, he did not say Iam the Alpha and the Omega, but rather he spoke hebrew to John and he said Iam the Aleph and The Tav, the tav having the significance that the cross was the end for mankinds salvation. It fits better than omega which just means End.
I don't want to get ahead LOL
