The singing hypocrite sings Sweet Hour Of Prayer and is content with 5 or 10 minutes aday..he sings Onward Christian Soldiers and then sits back and waits to be drafted.and then that is usually followed by going AWOL. how hypocritical it is to sing, There Shall Be Showers Of Blessings and then stay home from church on sunday morning because it's raining..how often do we sing I Love To Tell The Story but yet keep our mouth shut around those who need to hear the gospel.. we sing Serve The Lord With Gladness and then gripe when we are asked to do something for God..we sing We're Marching To Zion but fail to march to sunday school and church.i won't even mention sunday nightand wednesday night. then there are those that sing Throw Out The Lifeline and are content to throw out their fishing line on sunday morning.Oh i fear that the hymnal printed on our hearts sings a sadder song sometimes than on the pages of the hymn book. we need to toss out that old flesh ridden hymnal and in true worship sing praises unto the LORD our God..what beautiful music we could make..

Great message Brother, sad but true. It brings to mind another old song, "excuse's" you hear them every day. The devil will supply them, if from church you stay away.
WELL GLORRRRRRRRRY... I made it!!
I no longer sing ANY of those songs, so therfore, I'm no longer a hypocrite!!!!
WoW...that was easy.........almost, too easy......
..I do sing along with the radio once in awhile... does that count?(those songs aren't on Contemporary Music stations)
