Is the national ID card the next step toward the imposition of the biblical "mark of the beast" Christians believe will be required to buy and sell during the Last Days?
I found this to be interesting and to see what some inputs would be on this matter....It's not the chip but still it is making way for it in these ID cards..Without this card we can't drive or have anything to do with banking I believe.. If we accept these IDs most likely many will accept the chip...I don't want to see this type of ID and just be a number....

Mark on the forehead or the hand could just be a mindset or what you work for. Perhaps people driven by money...who think of nothing but money and work constantly to get it, have the mark of the beast?

those having the mark of the beast proclaim their servitude to the beast. Thus, the mark, whether on the right hand or on the forehead, figuratively speaking, is a symbol that identifies its bearer as one who gives worshipful support to the beastlike political systems of the world. Those having the mark give to "Caesar" that which rightly belongs to God. (Luke 20:25; Revelation 13:4,8; 14:1) How? By giving worshipful honor to the political state, its symbols, and its military might, to which they look for hope and salvation.

The mark is ownership of the government...This is like a bank account with your ss No.. It belongs to you...When people take the mark they become government property..They own you...You are accepting that they have supperior over God and put your trust in the government and not God...
Smoke just IMHO I feel that the Mark be it physical or mental will be associated with either a world figure or world government and not from a single government, one must keep in ming that the WHOLE world will be judged, not a single country.

It probably is another small step towards the ultimate Mark. I would imagine they will suck people in a little bit at a time. Starting out innocent enough and each time they change something it will be closer to getting the mark. All the uproar about the illegal aliens is another step along the way to breaking down the borders and forming regional governments that will eventually lead to the ultimate oneworld government..........dabow
what I'm going to tell ya is its more of an attitude thing .there is a fraze ,for god and county, but there are things that people will do for country that they wont do for god.and when push comes to shove you will find that ones country all ways comes first even if they know that there morely wrong . but that not the way it is with me or my freinds ,god is first and if he says it wrong we don't do it.
As I was riding my bike this morning at 4"30 AM ,a man tried to run me over. I was meditating on the things og God and in my Spirit the Lord spoke to me .The World is wicked and full of troubles. I thought about this verse immediately.
Matthew6 :34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Each day is full of trouble. Today ...we are trusting God to see us through. If a day comes in our life about taking a Mark..I trust God will see us through that day as well. If one is truly a Christian he is facing persecution.That comes with the territory ..."But our God shall deliver us through them all." That's the good news. Mark or no mark "Our God will see us through. Each day is bad..however; when we "Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness we will see less trouble and more blessing.
Nothing shall seaparate us from God's love....nothing. So rejoice my friends."It is God's will to give you the Kingdom."
