That Same Jesus

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:10-11 KJV.
Too many people in the world today think that Jesus was just a man, a good man, but still just a man.to others He is a good teacher or a prophet and to many He is a fraud and a liar..But to those of us who would answer like Peter, He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God!and there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun..There is a Redeemer who promised to come again and take us unto himself..He says in my father;s house there are many mansions..for centuries believers have looked for his coming to destroy his enimies and to claim His throne..and for centuries there have been mockers who ask, Where is his promise of his coming?Peter tells us that as the years go by, more and more will mock the believers as the mockers walk after their own lust..
"3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2 Peter 3:3-4 KJV.
Peter says they are willingly ignorant..one day soon we will be taken home to be in the presence of our Saviour for all eternity..one day that that same Jesus that suffered and died, was buried and arose from the tomb victorious over death and the grave will come again..
i ask you, are you ready to meet him as your Saviour or is He just another man?

Good post Bro Motor, I expect Bro Thomas was starting to think of Jesus along the lines of being just another good man and a prophet, but when he was asked to touch the wounds he remarked " My Lord and my God. " I see Him now in that way . .my Lord and my God .

Rev 19:11

The unbelievers have their fun now but Jesus is coming soon. As a believer I know that I am at all times just a heartbeat away from seeing the face of my saviour...........dabow
