Default My Pastor Opened the day Of Prayer at The White House

I 'ev been talking about this man of God on here. I have a nice sized group coming with me this Sunday. Any way he was shockedto get invited to open up the Day of Prayer at the White house.

Here is a part of that prayer I copied from our newspaper bu Jay Dennis of the Baptist Church at the Mall.

In his concluding prayer, Dennis asked God to "touch the soul" of America.

"Heal the wounds from our multiple natural disasters, heal the families of our fallen soldiers, heal our painful memories of terrorists' attacks and heal those who have lost hope for a better tomorrow. May our scars remind us to daily call upon you and to always be a people of compassion. Help us to choose lives of significance," he said.

Thanks Grasshopper,
We all certainly do appreciate your presence on here brother. You are a very good example. Have a great weekend. I won't be on here too much. I plan to do some stuff with my wife and maybe cast some spinner baits in the lake.
God speed,
Chuck7

Honestly Rev.the man is very humble . My wife is totally anti church and I know she will love this preacher. There are many folks out there who have been hurt by church situations. If I hadn't of modified my views to see Eternal Securitydifferently I wouild have never visited.the church. He said he couldn't believe it. James Dobson and Chuck Swindell were also there. The pastor is a lot like you Rev. He has a shepherd's heart like I deserned in you when I spoke to you on the phone. Actually..folks who do not love people do not belong in any kind of ministry. They are simply hirelings ...drawing a paycheck only.

He was in good company. James and Chuck are great men of GodI hold them up in high esteem. And your right, folks who do not love people do not belong in the ministry! Thanks for thinking so high of me, I don't deserve it my brother..
Have a great day, God willing I am going hog hunting today!
