Default Drug Problem

I had a drug problem when I was growing up, I was...

...drug to church every sunday morning,
...drugto church every sunday night,
...drug to church every wednesday night,
...drug to church every night of revival,
...drug to school when I didn't want to go,
and most important...drug behind the wood shed for a beating every time I sassed my mother or father, lied, stoled or said a curse word...many other reasons too!

You may have heard that before but it just popped into my mind and wanted to share it with ya.

God Bless

Amen dk!!!

I am proud of my kids and I don't want to seem bragging, but we (my wife and I) are complemented regularly when we are out with out kids on how well behaved they are, especially by elders. I don't think it's anything special, different or note worthy. We just have NEVER been afraid to bust their lil arses when they do/did wrong and they know that there are consequences for their own actions. Sadly it seems that such a notion has been lost on MANY parents today.

I laugh in many of our friends and relatives faces when they ask us how we get such good results with our kids yet they become HORRIFIED when I am quick to say, "Each of them has the right amount of leather strap in their diet"! You would think I was beating them with bullwhips at high noon before a public crowd by some of the reactions I get from people. Yet TOO THE KID I can show you the ones who know right from wrong and whose parents aren't afraid to "drag em behind the woodshed".

ADHD, ADD, Hyperactivity, threatening others, poor behavior/results in school, disrespect for elders and others property??? Such childhood "diseases" all share one common trait, they are ALL cured by judicious amounts of "footimus in assicus" applications!!!

Wow Red, you share my feelings exactly..We were raised the same way. To this day we all say yes sir and yes ma'am to our elders. Theres only one problem -do you know how hard it is to find our elders any more-we are the elders.
My Dad taught us all the benefits of manners and respect when we were all young.
After we had all been acting up one day and were all old enough to understand the lesson, he lined all us boys up and shot my brother grave yard dead... Straightened the rest of us right up..
It woulda been me probably, but I fainted dead away at the sight of that old muzzle loader and he hit my older brother right behind me, I didn't like him much anyway...
Oh man, did i say that out loud...???

Leep out-- far out...
