Mgman44 .. even you are strangely fading away dimly as you continue to draw the attention away from Christ and bring folks to argue with you. Good try....but it won't work. You see His sheep know HIm and his voice. We do not follow strangers.

Actually Chuck, by pointing to the Holy Ghost as the Sole Avenue to understanding the Commands of Jesus, I am in effect focusing 110% on Jesus. It's when I start talking about what I am going to do, that I start shifting focus AWAY from Jesus. I understand that many feel uncomfortable with the Holy Ghost being our only way to focus on Jesus, but the Scriptures state otherwise......
"""But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea,
the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man,
but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world,
but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."""
You see Chuck, it is not my intension to "argue" with you, or anyone else, but rather it is my intension to preach the Gospel. Sadly I see quite a bit of intolerence for any opinion that counters the status quo. While you may call me a "stranger", for pointing out the Gospel Truth, you cannot deny the Truth that Focus on Christ can only be achieved by indwelling of the Spirit
