Have you thought about doing a trade? Some people just aren't real good at school, but everyone has something they are good at. My dad didhated school his whole life, was good at machining things and now he does it for a living ,and makes more money than I will, and I'll have a degree.

Are you in high school? Finish it. If you're in college, it might not be your thing. You can find a trade to look into or you could join the military, specialize in something and get great training. My dad got his training through the military.

Anyways, good luck on finals. I got em coming up at the end of next week. Lots of stuff to do right now...it can be stressful. Hang in there.

Deerhunter1224,
Wel my friend .with the mariquana smoking and drinking I can see why you may be having a little bit of a problem focusing on your work. There has been alot of good advice given..you need to apply tha tgood advice. Most of us have given that advice out of our expereinces from the school of hard knocks. I know you are no slower than me. Slow people recognize they are slow and make the necesary adjustments. Like hang around with wise and smart people, ask lots of questions, and seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. There is mighty river of resources that come from being a child of God. Abide ih him and you will succeed.
Love,
Chuck7

Chucks right, of course you can be Cleopatras King of De Nile, but if I were you I would man up to what the problem is . . .or at least is a major contributing factor to the problem. Can you tell me that you study better, or as much when pot and booze is in the picture?
I'm not judging , . .been there , done that, . . . .it sounds like you need all the help you can get . . . .lose the booze, and the weed. Get real with yourself.

my friend the only advise i can give is to do the next right thing. dont look too far ahead in life, just do the right thing for what is right in front of you, put your faith in the lord and believe there is no such thing asa coincedense. so you go do your best, try on finals and just simply do whats right and you will be lead to exactly where you are supposed to be. You dont have to worry about being in failure in life or a failure tomorrow. let yourself be still in god and great things beyond immagination will come to you.

What would Jesus Do ? That should be your question.
Would he use alcohol and Canabis ? I think Not.
We are to live by his example, give you heart to him for real and stop living a life of pretending.
The Holy Spirit will take care of the rest.
Peace unto you.

Well, I would first start suggesting you actually put your faith in the Lord's will and not your own. I believe you will find out its the only way to make it.

I want to be a good Turkey hunter so bad. But I spent all week in the woods and still didn't get one. Little disappointed, but it was not God's will. So I look at the positives and had a great trip and learned so much last week with DaveH. Met one of the finest peopleyou couldask for (Bruce the farmer I stayed with) and saw some birds.

Now a few years ago, I would have been depressed and spitin mad that my hard work didn't pay off. What good is it to be upset? How would it have helped me. Now, I just say, "it wasn't God's will". Once you start renewing your mind and changing the way you think, you will find things that mean so much to you now may not be much. If you change the way you think, to don't worry so much and just relie on God's will, then everything will be ok, things will work out great.
