Default Anybody watch 10commandments?

I think they took alot of liberties I haven't read about in my Bible. I don't think I ever read the snakes fighting before Pharoh. Also they portray Moses wondering thru the desert after killing a man, I don't recall that one either. It just went on and on.

Hollywood can't get anything right.

I made it thru the first 20 minutes or so, then gave up on it. It is a joke compared to the one that Charlton Heston and company were in.

You know I was really excited about it too. I have been studying the OT alot and have a hard time getting my Fiancee involved. I understand alot of it is tough read, so I was trying to get her to watch it. But she fell asleep.

Wish it was little more biblically correct. Maybe there are translations that support it, but I haven't seen.

Yes he wondered probably for 2 weeks or so to reach Midian, where he defended the daughters of His to be father in Law.
And the snakes did fight but Moses' swallow the egyptians snakes and then he pick it up and it turned back into his staff.

Exodus chapter 7, tells of the serpents..
Moses spent his first 40 years in the palace and the next 40 years in the desert and 40 years wandering in the wilderness with his people..the sad part is because he disobeyed God, he didn't get to go into the promised land..

Send Charlton Heston an e-mail and get your answers.

There are a few versions of that movie Mark. I have seen a few. I like the old one where Burt Lancaster played in it.
Below is another good Christian movie Burt played in.
