Default life on other planets

If this has been discussed before forgive me bringing it up again. And maybe the whole subject is not of any importance and hardly worth our time. But I was watching a TV show the other day and it was talking about the probability of there being "intelligent life on other planets". Just for the sake of disscussion what are your thoughts?

Consider this possible scenario.
An UFO lands on the white house steps. Its occupants claiming to be from another planet here to save us from ourselves. They seem to have all the answers and help bring world peace. A day comes when they make an anouncement that they infact were responsible for starting life on our planet. They have seemingly inrefutable dna evidence of their claim. They than come out and show how they are indeed our creator. Now all the world worships them and is astounded by their miraculous works. But what if they are not friendly aliens at all, but actually fallen angels with lucifer as their commander and have just pulled off the greatest con of all time?

I see nothing in the bible that sayst there can't be that possibility. Now there's only one son, so I suppose if they became "fallen" like us there out of luck...idunno. But, just like I don't see it's possibility ruled out I don't see how we will ever know. So its a fun thought but would be fruitless to make a mountain out of the molehill.

BTW..haven't you guys seen Stargate!!!! Of course we were created by aliens...lol!!

24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.. Gen.1:24-28 KJV.

here in the creation story God is only talking about the Earth and nowhere else so i do not believe there is intelligent life any where else..

What about verses of the creation:

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Deu 10:14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens [is] the LORD'S thy God, the earth [also], with all that therein [is].
Neh 9:6 Thou, [even] thou, [art] LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all [things] that [are] therein, the seas, and all that [is] therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.(Can empty space worship Him ?)
Psa 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. ( who else did he give breath to?)
Psa 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. ( How can An Innert place declare anything ?)
Psa 103:19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. ( Over all What?)
Psa 108:5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
Psa 113:4 The LORD [is] high above all nations, [and] his glory above the heavens.
Who are the Hosts of the heavens ?

I think that dismissing the posibility of life on other planets is just ignorant. Sure we have proven (through space exploration and the simple fact of temps and environs on other planets within our own solar system) that life doesn't exist on our "local planets" but there are BILLIONS of stars in the heavens which means there are BILLIONS more of planets revolving around those stars/suns. What makes someone believe that earth is the ONLY one out of those BILLIONS that doesn't contain life?

I also think that alot of people who don't "believe" that life exists elsewhere just don't want to believe such, as it might cause them to question their own faith. I personally don't understand how life on other planets necessarily disproves the existance of God. Despite what George Lucas and Steven Speilberg have led us to believe, I don't think we will see intergalactic travel anytime soon. (Remember Einsteins theory about traveling one year at the speed of light?) Perhaps God knows this and the Bible and his son Jesus is ONLY for us here on earth? He made EVERYTHING as we know it, so why would he make the incalcuable expanses of heaven yet only feature humans on one tiny planet on a lesser sun?

I would LOVE to visit beings in other galaxies,
RA

No dont really believe there is life on other planets. People say seems like a lot of wasted space. I believe God created planets, solar systems, and what ever else is out there for our enjoyment. I know we all have seen pictures of distance stars that look very odd but also cool. Looking up at the stars at night is such a peaceful thing.

Red you show me in the bible where it says there are people anywhere other than the planet earth and i will concede to being ignorant..and if you can't will you confess your ignorance? what you or i think isn't proof of anything..

I do not question my faith because i believe whatthe Word of God says..
who said anything about God not existing? I certainly didn't..

Can someone explain these verses to me?

Rev.5:13,14
[13] And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
[14] And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
