Default Alex,seder question

In our church group we had been having a seder supper. As complete as we knew how.I understand that it has been modernized some from the early timesbut,...
Also We did not have communion.
We stopped last year as it was brought to our attention that Jews would be offended. Is this true or not.

Why should we be offended ?
On the contrary we are happy that we are beginning to come to knowledge of the god of Israel.

Now personally the way most churches do it ,worried me, as it is not the way Jesus and the apostles partook of the pre-passover meal.
Paul refer to many being sick in church due to taking the Lord's supper the wrong way.
First without repentance and second the way it was taken or implemented was far from what God says it should be.

Some take it by drinking grape juice, this is not correct.
We take it with real wine which is cut down with water 2/3 water 1/3 wine, this way even children take it, we take 7 cups of this as passover law says.
Then we use Matzo, prepare with and by Rabbis who bless the bread continously until done.

I will post a description with more details if you all wish ?

Hey Reb, I wonder if Alex didn't get the mixture wrong on the wine and water.

Rather than typing in instructions here, i invite you to a messianic site from our organization, where everything is explained step by step.

Thank you,
I also visitedyour web page and seems we had it accurate. I will go back and look at it closer later. We had leg of lamb andI believefour glasses of realwine, we did not cut. With readings and courses between glasses.bitters etc. I guess who made prep did a good job. Well if that is the case I will tell them tocontinue. As a rule the men show up when their is something to eat. but now I miss the gathering.

Alex, I just read the entire Seder ceremony, very interesting, thanks.

I have a question, could a gentile become a full fledged member of messianic congregation?

If yes what would be involved?

Sure Taz, You are already a messianic if you believe in the Messiah, you might not be a hebrew messianic ,but we are all one body in Yeshua (Jesus).

Messianic means, follower of the Messiah or in pagan terms Christian.

Shalom

I've read the original post a few times, and I'm just not sure I'm understanding this correctly. You have dropped a practice instituted by Christ in the New Testament for fear of offending someone???????? And it seems you have replaced it with a ritual from Jewish law??????

If I am wrong here, my apologies. If I am right, I hope you will study the following.

Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13, Galatians 5:4
