I want to thank any and all who have been praying for my son Jon. We got another call this morning from the sheriff, saying Jon had been involved in yet another accident.
So the story goes, he was coming home from work and fell asleep 5 minutes from his workplace. He flipped the truck about 6 times, totaling it out. No one else was involved and Jon is okey. The patrolman on the scene says he is certain there were no drugs or alchohol involved and that Jon was driving pretty close to or below the speed limit.
I praise the Lord and am so thankful that He has spared my son yet again. Your continued prayers will be appreciated, as I am very concerned about this boy. He'll be 20 yrs old in May but has led a very sheltered life. I'm really wondering if I have done the right things in raising him. I came up by the scuff of the neck, where Jon was raised out here in the boondocks, homeschooled, and churched all his life. I just am grateful for his life and am very distraught.

You are welcome Leaf. Thanks also for the prayers for Matt. I know Go dhears prayers for the remarkable work he has done in Andrew's life and my recent touch of my mind. We will continue to believe God's best for Jon.
God bless,
Chuck7
Sorry, I hadn't heard, I will pray. I had a cousin who hadthe same type of problem, everyone thought he was drunkevery time he piled his car up.Have his adenoids checked. Just a possibility.I am glad hesounds OK now.
Yep, thats him Reb, . .my only blood son. I took today off to watch him, just in case. He's a good kid and leaves the booze and the drugs alone. I'd hate to see what he would do if he were as I was at his age.
Well what do you do . . . .buy him another truck I guess. I getting to where I hate to think that I may be getting him the instrument of his destruction.

That's a tough decision bro., but I also have done itwith mine. Three times! They are in Lord's hands, all we can do is pray that the lord be with them and that they don't take someones elses life in the process, that's my biggest fear!

Thank God he is safe. and is still here with you but Leaf if God wants to take him home he will if not in a truck some ather way This may sound cold but when God wants him he will take him and there is nothing you can do about it. If he falls asleep that easy there may be somthing wrong with him and you may want to get it check out. You bet Brother I will keep him in my prays everyday. God bless bro
Leaf, I have 6 kids and thank God on a daily basis that so far none of them so far has had a bad accident.
I will keep Jon in my prayers, as renfrowridge suggested he may want to see a doctor, there are some weird sleep disorders that can cause that. Praise the Lord he walked away from that, rolling 6 times and walking away from it is a miracle.
Leaf you can not blame your self for how he has turned out, it certainly sounds like you have done your part, he is 20 and will do what he is going to do, sounds like he is an over all good kid that has some driving bad luck for lack of better words.
