Learning our weakness teaches us to lean on God's strength..
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. Psalms 73:23-28 KJV.
I'm reminded of the old patriarch Jacob, at one time he was strong and had pretty much all he wanted but when he was dying he was humbled and depended on God for everything..As I grow older, i will be 77 april 30, I am learning to lean on God and his faithfulness more and more..as the Psalmist writes, He has held my hand, guided me with his counsel and someday soon He will take me home to Heaven..what a wonderfull promise that is,to spend all eternity with Jesus and all my loved ones who have gone on before..as l look back over the years i often think, boy i wish i had of realized how much God loveds me..how much more i could have done for him..you younger ones who read this, take note and think about what are you doing for the cause of Christ..I'll bet most of you could do more..I know i can..we serve a wonderful Saviour!!
Have a great week and tell someone about Jesus

Thanks Bro Motor, Your post, as you are, is an inspiration. I too realize how many yrs I have wasted and even yet am not doing all that I can possibly do for our great Lord. I pray that you will continue to be blessed in the Lord for many yrs to come. Pray for me that I may be of more service in His will.
