Matthew Winkler family

Guys

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere here, but a coc minister, Matt Winkler, was shot and killed this past week. It appears it may have been his wife who shot him. He leaves behind 3 daughters. Please keep the Winkler Family in your prayers this week.

Here's a link to the story. Bear in mind that the media is already trying figure out "the why" and it seems they hope for the worst reasons possible. It's bad enough these poor girls have lost both their mother and father....just keep the family in your prayers.

That is sad to hear, no matter what denomination one is! My thoughts and prayers for those girls!

For whatever reason, the police are witholding the "reason" she gave; but she has been charged with 1st degree murder. I'm sure that's subject to change, but for now it seems to rule out anything like self defense.

Those little girls sure need all the help they can get.

He was a good guy. His grandfather was one of my profesors at Faulkner University. He just passed on two months ago. Those little girls are with Matthew's parents, his Dad, Dan, is an awesome Christian. But no matter where those girls are, they will have a void in their lives. So sad. I pray Jesus will fill them with His love and see them through their lives. If anyone would like to personally help them I have an address that was in our church bulletin this past week for a fund for the children. Here it is:
