Last night I had my wife read my post. She let me know real fast that it was unprofessional as a teacher and Christian . I do ask ALL the folks on here in which it affected to please forgive me. I'll do my best to not let it happen again.
Sincerely,
Chuck7
Bro Chuck; No apology needed on my behalf. I was asking some questions, but I had not been offended or had my feelings hurt. If my replys were found offensive, or not becoming a christian, I also apologize to you. As has been said so often, it is hard to communicate the true intend on a machine. Many times I will question a statement because I see how others could take it to mean somethingother than what I would see in it. If I disagree, it doesn't mean that I am offended. I also know that my views are in the minority on most issues, and I expect to be questioned and corrected when needed. For the most part, you and I have been able to discuss things without hard feelings. I hope that continues, and improves in the future. Snooky
Chuck, no need to apologize! As long as you believe in Jesus Christ and are trying to follow Him, like I mentioned before, I consider you a brother.
Brother, the only thing that I can't figure out is, you're not a blue collar worker or a common laborer, you're a professional person and should be making professional decisions. When you tell us all the churches and all the bible colleges you have attended and still have'nt found your place, makes people wonder.
I'm not saying to stay in a churchthat is showing immorality or not preaching the word, but with your education and expirence over the years, gosh brother, you should have found a church home by now?
You know bro., I pray that you do soon. May God bless you and your family!

No problem here either Chuck. I think what gets us in trouble a lot of times are our motives. We should strive for biblical holiness with pure motives, . .if not we will negate and contradict all we try to do for God. If what we do is pure and undefiled in every sense I think it shows thru.

does this mean your wife will be checking all your posts from now on?
I was at orientation class last week and one of the teachers brought up the three golden gates , good rule to go by.
The first golden gate is, "Is It True." For most people this is the only gate they let their words pass through. Who has not heard someone retort "well it is true isn"t it" right after they had slaughtered someone with a few poison words? This is poor diplomacy at best and is often used as a cloak of maliciousness. That something is true is not a mandate for you to repeat it to the hurt of others. It is no secret that truth without love is cruelty and love without truth is sentimentality. Many truths are weapons in the hands of those whose motive it is to hurt. Truth then is only gate number one, so let"s move on.
The second golden gate is, "Is It Needful." Regardless of the veracity of what you are about to say, do you really need to say it? Here is where a lot of retort will fail to report. Most of the nasty things repeated would have no sting at all if they attempted to pass through gate two. Only people of character will have a gate number two. People who care about others, who understand the weight of words and who seek love are those who have a second golden gate. The power of this golden gate comes from the golden rule. When we disregard someone else"s peace, privacy or dignity, who will guard our own?
The third golden gate is, "Is It Kind." This is the gate that causes a person to honestly look at their own motives for saying something. True things can be spoken to hurt. Un-needful things are spoken daily by the careless and indifferent. Words spoken without love are the worst of the bunch because they have a lingering and damaging effect whose poison goes on and on. They are the great enemy of mankind. They are the precursors to every evil result from hatred to murder. Most words that have made it through the first two gates will fail at gate number three.
