Default Hypocritical Excuse

The man who says he is kept away from religion by hypocrites is not influenced by them anywhere else. Business is full of them, but if he sees a chance at making money he does not stop for that.
Society is crowded with them, and yet he never thinks of becoming a hermit.
Married life is full of them, but that does not make him remain a bachelor.
Hell is full of them, and yet he does not do a thing to keep himself from going there.
He wants to have you think that he is trying to avoid the society of hypocrites, and yet he takes not a single step toward heaven, the only place where no hypocrites can go!

Your right Leaf I used that excuse for years.I finally came to believeit was justself serving. Thats just me. The problem was it took me a long time to get right. So in fact I just short changed myself.

One day I invited a neighbor to church, he said I don't go to church because is full of sinners and hypocrits.
To which I replied then you should feel right at home.
He looked at me kind of weird, the next weekend he was the first one in the church, LOL

Ok,I guess thats why I feel at home now.I still have problems attending the smaller church groups. I see most on here really enjoy them. I guess by nature I'm a loner. I'm working on it.
For the guys who are like I was. Something to think about if you have kids.when you wait too long as I did. You always have one or two who will do as the old man did.

Don't stay away from church because the church is not perfect: how lonely one would feel in a perfect church.
