Update on Andrew

Hello friends,
We just got a call from Andy. He gets a daily update about theIraq situation. There have been continual air strikes for the last 7 days in Iraq. There are 2000 Iraq prisiners in a prison in Cuba. Andrew is going to Cuba as a guard in that prison in 12weeks. Between where he is and Cuba we will be stopping off at Strut's for some waleyed pike. Also Matthew seen a recruitor today.He is wanting to enlist as well to get away from his old friends.

Great news Bro! We will certainly keep Andrew in our prayers, and also good that Matthew is thinking of the future. The service as you well know will do him good. They will be in our family prayers daily as all of your are.

Andrew is the acting Platoon Sergeant now. He is doing very well.
Of course it's only a practice position but they remain in that role until they mess up.

I enjoy reading your post and replies.There are alot of very mature Christians on this site. Oh...since Andrew is working on his BA in the military they ae giving him a free laptop. Andy will be learning alot about Islam. The prisoners face Mecca and pray and worship Mahumaed in their cells. I've never seen Andrew so serious in my life. He reported a drill sergeant for misconduct last week and was put in the position of Platoon Sergeant {After recieving much persecution} He is a straight forward ,look ya in the eye young man.And after his recent conversion his boldness has multiplied. He's nota trouble maker but he is far from beinga pushover as well. God truly is in his life.

C7 it sounds as though Andy is turning into a fine young man and a fine soldier as well! Matthew is making a smart move, I have always felt that the military is the best thing in the world for a young man who needs some discipline an direction in thier lifes.
