Default Turkey Hunting in the Morning!
Turkey season started on Wednesday here, I'm gonna slip out there in the morning and try to find one of those gobblers! I'll let y'all know what happens! Here's a picture of a Bearded Hen from my place, pretty cool, huh? Y'all have a great night and a wonderful tomorrow!

Thanks Froman!

I went this morning, and as usual for my first hunt of the year, I moved too soon. I heard him gobble 5 times total, and if I had waited for just 10 more minutes, I would have had him. But, I got excited and tried to get closer to him! INSERT: (bit of advice) NEVER TRY TO GET CLOSER AFTER THE TOM IS GOBBLING AND COMING IN FAST!!!!! The problem I have is that FAST is never "fast" enough! [8D] Oh, well, the Lord blessed me with a very beautiful morning and some great sounds and sights! I'll try them again soon! Y'all let me know how you do if you turkey hunt!

Turkey season doesn't open here until April 1st.. I just bought a new mouth call, and I am driving every one crazy practicing.. (LOL)... I'll just take Rebs call with me.... I just need a real long cord to plug in my computer...

I'm still waiting for our opener on April 18th. Last year I passed a kidney stone the night before and killed a 20lb gobbler opening morning!
