Here lately my body isn"t behaving. My digestive system is not working right. A man I knew in the army whom I gave a Bible to in 1977 called me at my home the other day. I never gave him one hint about my problem and out of the blue he begged me to get a colonoscopy. I did sign up to go to the health fair in April where they will hook me up.
I honestly don"t want to die anytime soon. Most folks die with a pat on the back. There are a few who miraculously get healed. I ask the Lord"what can I do to get one of those miracles. { You can see where God is really answering a prayer request that some of us prayed a few weeks before to change my life.} Because the answer is changing my life. The answer is Proverbs 10:2 Righteousness delivers from death. And yet I heard my pastor reminding me that our righteousness is as filthy rags.Then the Lord gave me this verse. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING >IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS." Then I understood. The righteousness of Christ is two fold. 1. His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
2, There is righteousness in obeying His spirit.
1 Peter 1:22a Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit .
So let it be known, this man has totally repented. Deer hunting and fishing is down the list this year. Righteousness and obedienceare100% at the top and my wife is joining me.

I know it's real. Matt and I are going fishing tomorrow. He ask if we can shoot pool at Wally's when we are done. The Spirit brought the verse to me."And have no fellowship with the works of darkness but rather reprove them" SO I said I won't be gong there any more. While I worked today compassion fell on me as I hugged another employee and prayed for them as they are going through a difficult time.God is setting me free. Also..just went to the bathroom. So far so good.

P.S. You can puit all the fishing and deer hunting on the back burner for now but come Mo deer season you better be here, We love ya. Remember God don't want you to quit everything you enjoy doing especially when you are doing it with fellow christians.

NO Reb.I haven't had a physical in 8 years probably..but I do have all of the symptons of IBS Irratalble Bowel Syndrome. I bloat all the time and cannot use the bathroom. When I bloat I feel sick.I've taken every laxative on the market and eat a high fiber diet. Still nothing. I'm at rock bottom and am trusting God by staying in his Word and striving to walk in obedience. I trying to keep a positive , thankful attitude and that is it. I'm getting test started in April. Losing weight will help so I'm still working on that. I've learned when ya hit 50 your #1 concern is health.The other stuff will follow suit. It can drive ya nuts soI try to stay and stay in the Word which helps bring peace. I've already cancelled turkey hunting because my back hurts and I know I can't sit still that long.PLUS.. there's no used scaring the deer away from our secret spot. Archery will be here before ya know it.

Brother, that's not good! Don't you have Humana thru the school system? The wife and I got our physicals every year.Anything that had to get done, got done within a couple of months. Bro. the Lord will make things good, but you have to help yourself and he will lead you thru your ordeal.

ditto, get the physical, and tell the doc everything, also your change in diet could be causing some of these things, one of the healthiest guys i know (health nut) went to his doc and he found out he was not getting enough salt in his diet, i thought that would be impossible, but sure enough that was contribuiting to his problems

Appreciate that Keith. After Monday I'm off for 18 days. I'm glad my check ups not until April. I want to do some seriuos flipping or drifting a large worm fo rMrs. Largemouth. I may do a couple days of turkey huntnig just to put on the camos and use the slate call.Could get lucky..never know. I sure hope you folks are feeling alright. I'm not the only one aging around here LOL
