Default should i act this way

When I am in school I become very anger. Mainly becuase I am no good at school work. I become very anger that I cant get some subject or problem or I fail a test. I am not going to be a loser all my life. I am going to do something with my life. Not going to have some crappy job that people dropped out of high school, or some service job, like fast food worker, or walmart. I am going to have a salary job. I am not going to be white trash.I want to live in a fairly nice house aleast 2500 sq feet, drive a car thats less then 6 yrs old. If I could live my life as I do now would be happy. Not going to be some poor guy that can never go on vacation, lives in crime neigbhor, married to some dirt whore that doesnt give a darn, kids just dont give a darn. I am sorry just had to get that out of there. I am tried that I am no good at the books.

DH- there are plenty of people without degrees/diplomas that are very happy with their lives. Your job/salary/car/house does not define you as a man. You need to change your thinking.

Again, you need to change your entire thinking process. That is not a very mature statement.

Wrong to act that way? Yes
Normal to feel this way at your age? Yes
Would I felt that way? Yep and did.

But, what you got going for you, is I feel you have the Holy Spirit kinda working in your life. Its your will or his will. I have a feeling you are going to be ok. I know you are seeking answers, we all can tell by the way you ask questions. Don't give up my friend. Keep fighting. I mean I pray to God everyday to thank him for the Grace he put on me. I don't know why he picked me. He could have put me in a situation where I wouldn't ahve needed him, and I would have lost what is most important.

Fight temptations of Satan, and he willflee you.

DH i know how you feel, im no good in school either, all you go to do is what i do, just pass it remeber a 65 is passing, what you need to do is think of a job you want to do in the future, then maybe go toa community collage or something to get more advanced in that topic... just think of a good job you can think you capable of doing and work hard to become good at it. My uncle droped out of school in 9th grade....He know has a boat a big house a few cars and 2 kids, he set his sights on being an electrican and thats just what he became.

deerhunter; I am sure you have already read Luke 18:11-12, but reading it again slowly as you compare itto your goals for the future, itmay shed some needed light. Some of the best, and happiest children of God, could be among those you are looking down the nose at. Taking heed to the outstanding advise that has already been given bythose on this site who truly care for your soul and happiness will reap great rewards.

I dont care if I drive around a $300,000 car, live in a 12,000 sq foot home. Good example movie stars. Yes it would be nice if my lifes not like that oh well. I dont want to live in trailer court, drive a car thats like 20 yrs old. If I could continue living the way I do now. I would be happy! I live in a nice house, drive a nice truck. My house inst huge something like 2200 sq feet. My truck is a bit old still looks nice. I want to work with people that more then likely had to get a college degree. WHY is college so freaken hard for me! I cant get anything I feel so lost!

I remember when I had an old beat up truck.. I rented a house, and hung around with carpenters and brick layers. No one around had a degree or knew anyone that did... I had just founded Power of Faith Ministries (22 years ago).. I had four children a wife that loved me, and I was blessed.,

Today I have all the above you mentioned.. I have a 4,000 sq ft. house, hang out with doctors, own my own business employess running out my ears,,, and I would give it all back to have my little wife back and my four kids running round the house making noise...

Success is not measured by monetary gains my friend.

Man, I remember when I drove a truck with 500K miles, lived on the road traveling for MCI full time. No responsibilites. Not makin much money, boy I miss those days. Not a care in the world. It was the easy life. But now, itsseems impossible to go back.

Yea, I make 10X more now, have a nice house, 2 cars, harley, boat, but remember this. The more stuff you own, the more it owns you. Maybe there is a reason your not getting what you want.
