Default IN HIS IMAGE

When Eve was created from one of Adam's ribs, Adam said;

GEN 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
The same is true with our Lord. He wanted someone who was created in his image, and his likeness. The creation of the universe was not enough to satisfy his desire, and the angels were not able to satisfy him either. He needed someone to share his life with, so he created man in his image, and in his likeness. Those of us who receive his Spirit are being conformed into the image of his Son.

ROM 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

PHI 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

i dont really think God needed us, he created us for his glory, he is self satisfying in himself, he needs nothing to satisfy himself, it almost sounds as if u r saying he created the world and the angels in hope of them being able to satisfy his desiresi just think he created everything for his own glory not for his satisfaction

If fellowship with man, whom God had made, was not the goal? What was the purpose of God walking through the garden in the cool of the day and calling for Adam? Moses was instructed to build a Tabernacle in the wilderness for what reason? That I may dwell with them. Ex 25:8
John 3:16 For God so Loved that he gave. God's love is why calvary was endured.
Greater love hath no man than this; that he lay down his life for his friends. Ro 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Remember we are created in His Image ? If we need someone to share our lives with, then why shouldn't God have the same wants ?

If God had he remained alone ? who would worship Him ? who would call Him father, Lord My God ?I know Iam Again guilty of getting in to deep for some.

But even the word says, we should dwell in this things ,in the mistery of God who have given us the answers through His Spirit, who searches into God but us who have the mind of Christ (paraphrased)

If He didn't want to fellowship then He would not have created us, and why then would he sacrifice His only begotten Son made into the image of man to save a worthless sinner.

"You don't love what you don't need "

Shalom
