Got a revelation today

I'm serious about this. One thathas set me free.
The revelation is fromthe loving conviction of the Holy Spirit. It had to do with the post Abe posted about the gifts. It had to do with my know it all attitude that I have. The Lord sorely convicted me of the gross pride that I have. My sincere intentions but always coming up short. The revelation..We are diffently saved by grace and not our own efforts or wonderful works. Christ desires to wok through us and since it's Him he should get 100% of the glory.As I look back on a lot of thesepost I beg ya.PLease forgive my know it all attitude. Taz...it was your reply on Abe's post that stirred me up. Christ has set me free today .Free from my own fruitless efforts and holier than thou attitude. Apart from Christ ...I truly am nothing.

AMEN BRO!!!!! That's an awesome feeling!!!! Isn't it awesome that with Christ's Grace we are freed- even though we don't deserve it?! I feel the same way sometimes. I just can't believe God can love me because of my pride and self-righteousness, but He does! Praise the Lord He does!

I must say Chuck, your mind, like Pauls is a constant struggle. I mean that with the utmost respect. I think your a great person and need to give yourself a break. We are all your friends here and you have nothing to prove. Eat drink and be merry.

I 'm with you brother. I will eat drink and be merry as a free servant of the Lord. I love you and hold your hand and the hands of every one else on her as we stand on level ground. Christ has no grandchildren. He loves us all the same.

Many on here the past year has been trying to help me in this area. I just was not at a place to recieve it. It finally sunk in......I truly am a loser apart from Christ. I aint fooling anybady ..not even me. After 1,000,000 times of falling it has sunk in "I have no confidence in my flesh." NONE ABSOLUTELY NONE!!!! ALL I CAN DO IS CRY OUT TO GOD > He does the rest. Therefore He deserves all the praise . I am no better than anyone on here and if the truth be told probably somewhat lower .

Think about God's love toward us. HE humbled Himself and became a man to ultimately save us. Can we not humble ourselves to be one and love one another? and l;ook past our opinions and differences. Solomon said only PRIDE cause contention. Only Pride got Satan's butt kicked out of glory. Pride is behind our sins. The Lord giveth more grace to the humble but oppposes the proud. I'm not sure if I learned pride or inherited but I hate it .It will truly destroy a man.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
