i become angry

I have posted a few things about school. I have noticed that I become very angry when it comes to school. I know shouldnt become this way. I struggle so much with school. My fear is that wont get my degree and end up with some dead end job. I want a fairly good job. The type of job I am talking about is a professial job. Not some fast food job, cleaning, basically service job. Yes you say trust in the lord. Gee I have been struggling so much. School is the only thing in my life that I wish could do better besides serving God better.

Yea, anger is not good. Anger shows that you don't trust God to handle a situation. I know I posted below about a preacher in KS that is protesting funerals. I have been very ticked off all night over it. I mean ready to fly to KS when he returns to protest his church, (if you call it that) or even more drastic. But just a min ago, I was walking down the hall, thinking. I should take this anger to God and hand it over to him and trust he will do what he said and take care of the issue his way.

I see what you are saying BC, but I want to have success in life. I have been given so much in my life. It looks bad if I dont do well in school or get that degree. Once I do get my degree my grades wont ever matter again. Why am I struggling right now. I feel like maybe I am cursed or something. God isnt going to give me the answers to my next exam. I have prayed for help on exams. My last exam well lets say I prayed before.I did very badly in the range of 30%. I felt like I knew what I was doing before the exam.

Hey Deerhunter


Let me share something with you. I was in college, preparing to become a teacher. I had good motives in mind. I just wanted to provide for my wife and later on, for children as well. I actually did well in school. I was in my second year, when I was approached by a man who went to church with my wife( I went too, but wasn't a christian). He offered me a job, which I turned down. He pressed me on it, but I still refused. I didn't even ask what it was going to pay. I had my mind made up, I was going to teach. I felt i had a good talent for it. I went home that week, and the guy calls me on tuesday.I was preparing for a tutoring lesson in american history. I really didn't have time to talk ,and to be honest I couldn't afford to turn down the money I was going to make for the lesson, so I blew him off again. That wednesday night, he approached me again. He told me about the job, and this time,I slowed down enough to listen. The job he offered was going to pay a considerable amount more than I would make as a teacher, after I finished another 2+ years of schooling. I told him I'd think on it. AsI got home, my good sense kicked in and I called him back and told him I'd take the job. I've been in that job ever since. It's really been a blessing for my family and I. AfterI took the job, about 3 years later, I became a christian. I can honestly say it would have been a lot harder for me to become a christian, had I not been in a job where I was around other christians. I thank God for not giving up on me. The point to the story is, sometimes we get so caught up in our plans that we fail to see that God sometimes has something much more beneficial in store for us, if we'll only let Him have His way. My advice would be to pray, alot. Meditate on God's word and then realize that God gave you the ability to be anything you want, but that he's not going to do it for you. He expects a little from us too.
