Default To Charlie P

Charlie ...I've heard it once said it takes more faith to be an atheist than a Christian. To see all the evidence around ya and continue to deny it would be very tough.

Darn good questin Ought 6 Alot could be said regarding that statement. I've got company right now though so will only leave ya with this verse for now.
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
A true believer is one who's life relects the Word living within him. He /she is a fruitful Christian . They are Christlike.

06, you see alot of folks say they Christians or believers. But you look at thier life (fruit) and it doesn't click.

I always use the example, lets say the Mafia told you not to drive up a certain road or they would kill you or beat you or do something serious to your family. Generally you know these guys are contract killers and mean business. So you say forget it, and take the threat serious enough to drive another direction. We take them seriously. But God also who is gentle, merciful, caring but also has shown us his wrath, gives us commands. Most of us don't take them seriously enough. He told us he would throw us in a lake of fire if we didn't. But we try, but generally put more effort in brushing our teeth. Now, we either have little faith or we believe and forget his wrath. I think its a little of both.

So how much belief or fruit is enough? I don't know but we should all do as much as we can. We wouldn't want to take chances.
