Science knows nothing beyond death. Human experiance is limited to life and does not reach beyond the grave. If we are to ever learn what is beyond this life, where will we learn it from?

2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence"
2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 1:12 "which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me."
I agree with you guys, Bro Motor, your right, if we are to learn about the destiny of the lost it will be from the Bible. If we are ever to know what is beyond this life we will learn it from God. Heaven and hell, rewards and punishment, happiness or sorrow beyond the grave, are matters about which the word of God is the only valid authority.

The Lake of Fire is a place and not just a state, where the lost will ultimatley go. As Heaven is a place and not just a mere state of mind, in like manner the unsaved go to a place.

Thanks for replying MT, Seems we havn't had many if any threads on hell. Thought I'd give it a look at.All thru the bible it shows that God responds to sin in judgement. In the end He's going to seperate the wheat from the tares for eternity.

Hey Leaf,
Sorry for the delay in replying brother. I feel just like you on Hell.
I remember hearing in college something like this.
" If Hell wsn't real why would God allow His Son to suffer so great a price."
Oneness "If Hell wasn't real why would God have suffered so greatly ."
or why would Jesus make such statements as this...
Matt.5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
