Good night Thomas....been a battle tonight but I just had 2 bowls of that o point soup. Leaf..continual prayers are gone up for Jon. Please say a prayer for Andy ..his knee i smessed up bad . Motor...although we don't communicate much..I love ya brother an dpray your health gets real good. Cataway.....thanks for the talk my friend.

That is late Cataway. I'm a morning person. I get up at 4....WalK the lake at 4:30 AM . Get back at 5:30 and get ready for work. I sit with my wifeor Chuck Renfrow {He is a serious morning person LOL}for a spell and then iron my clothes, fill my bird feeders, and feed the outside fish . Today when I get to school I take my students on a birdwalk at 8:00. They love it and must come to my room early because school don't begin until 8 :30. Since the standardized teating begins next Mon. we read and do math all day long. These are 3 rd graders and we have been doing geometry all week. It's amazing...the hardest thing for children to get down are cubic units in teaching volumn. They just can't see those little ice cubes.LOL

Concerning reading goals...that's easy .Third graders should be reading 110 words a minute with at least 70% comprehension by the end of the year.

or....they don't pass.
