What should you do if people around you look at you werid and say things that arent very nice if want to be more religious?

Get used to it.. Being a Christian in todays world isn't easy, the more you work at it the easier it will be... Just remember this:
Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are you when they (those around you)revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you..

God doesnt care how rich, poor, good looking, ugly, fat. skinny, etc you are. If you dont believe in him and dont do whats right more then likely you wont go to heaven. I may think my life isnt the greatest right now. I try do whats right now so I will live Eternal life with God. If you dont get into heaven thats it. There is other place to go that can be great. Here on earth if you get fired from a good job. You can find other good job else where.

Be strong brother, its only going to get worse. We are going to get more and more persecuted. It is written and its going to happen.
