Default I am ashamed

We got dumped on with 17" of snow in Westminster, MD last night. So there was no services today. And a piece of me was relieved not to have to go to church.Thought I could go shooting or reloading, work on my boat in teh garage.I started thinking about that. Thats aweful. It should be a privledge to worship a God that has put so much grace on me.

You don't need a temple to worship God, remember your the temple Of The Holy Spirit.
Let your mind praise Him and all that you are worship the Lord.

Shalom

BC, Don't beat yourself up over this, thats part of our human nature, doing what we want to do, I think I can safely say that we all have had feeling just like you are dealing with, I know I have. I know on Wed. night services it don't take much to get me to stay at home.

You guys are right. But Sunday service is something I require. When I go overseas for two weeks, I feel like a spirital mess. The church keeps me strong.

I concur totally with Alex, that being said I know folk who need the Sunday service if for noting more them the fellowship. God may have wanted you to stay home yesterday and have you enjoy the beauty of his creation and praise him for that.

BC-- I understand and empathize with you man. I undertand because we got the same amount from the same snow and our services were cancelled too! I was relieved because I was then able to get home from work safely and clear our 1/4 mile long driveway with my tractor. I have felt the same way at times too, so you're not alone.

I undestand too Big Country..When I was fresh out of Satan's grip I longed for the Monday night prayer meeting where I knew Jesus was. His presence was felt at every meeting. It was never cancelled but only grew.
Sometimes the service was so good it went from 7:00 PM till 12:00 PM and I'm not kidding.

I have seen some folks that canstay Spiritually rock steady if you thru them in the deepest darkest hole for years. Just amazes me how tender and frail I am. Starting my walk with Christ has opened my eyes to serious strength. I used to think I was tough. Looking back I was a joke to some.

Funny thing was, I was always scared to start my walk with Christ because I thought everyone else would see me as turning weak. Like my fellow buddies and bikers, etc.

BC to me there is no greater show of strength then walking with Christ, it is not always an easy thing to do while still in this world though.
