I was wondering what you guys think of the greek philosophers, if anyone has studied them.

It's all Greek to me..Actually no!! I have studied Jesus more than anyone.. He is the only one I trust.. Sorry if it sounds like a sarcastic answer, but when I read it's God's word most of the time... I feel guilty if I give other things more time than Him. To me it's just an opinion, and I've heard farmers and rancers with more common sense than they!

I have for many years, as far as humanism goes they are Ok, as far spiritually they are lost.

I read Aesop's Fables to my students daily before school starts.It's a good kicker to bring in scriptures as we discuss the moral of the story.

I have never studied them per say except when they were discussed in school, there is one and I can not remember which one who basically said that any many who felt there was not a God was a fool.... a bit of paraphrasing there!

Actually I was grew up in ranching country. My grandfather raised me, and was a rancher. I learned a lot from their wisdomcertainly more than any philosopher could ever teach me about life. I know that no philosopher ever said do not relieve your self on an electric fence...
