20And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:20-25 KJV.
For us,God's children, it is walk of faith. Yet faith is much more than just words, but it is w ay of living and allowing the Spirit of God work in and through our lives. and in my humble opinion we must believe in the entire Word of God, not just what we want to believe as some do..The disciples lived and worked side by side with Jesus and at times they understood what He was doing and other times they had no clue as to what was going on. you know as i said before, i'm not the smartest guy on the block so i have to put my complete trust in Him..Amen.. Jesus wants us to realize that our life and walk are the same and that they are not separate things that we do one day and then the other on another day. Jesus wants us to trust Him and to walk in Him moment by moment and lean not on our own understanding. All too often we see that we can do it, but God wants us to receive it from Him and that we do it in faith. Jesus was the perfect example of One who put together His walk, words and action to honor God by all that He did. May we see that God will use us, but are we willing to trust Him and take Him at His Word. Allow the Spirit of God to direct your path. wasn't it Solomon who wrote, inspired by God, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." gentlemen we need to do right according to God and not according to man..we need to follow the Word and not some other book or false prophet or teacher..God help us not to be a stumbling block to anyone..[/align]

Ecclesiastes 4:1 Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is under the sun; And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter. On the other side of their oppressors there is power. But they have no comforter.
Solomon knew that life wasn"™t fair. And frankly there is nothing we can do about it. God created all of us with a free will and He gave us the ability to chose between right and wrong. Many times one chooses the wrong things in life, and others suffer. Other times nature dealsout a bad hand to us, and we blame God. The hurricanes have really taken their toll on many good people. I have heard some say, why didn"™t God intervene and maneuver them out in the Atlantic? God has placed the earth in our hands, He gave us the earth with all it"™s laws, like, gravity, without it we would all just float to the sky, however gravity has killed many people, either through falls, or falling objects. Nature is beautiful, look at the sunsets and the sunrises. A harvest moon is a wondrous sight. A star filled night is pleasant to the eyes, but sometimes nature unleashes it"™s furry through tornadoes, lighting storms and hurricanes. God has also given us the ability to protect ourselves through common sense. We know not to surf before a hurricane, but we still see that one on the evening news surfing. We know not to play outside during a lighting storm, but more people die every year from lighting than any other natural phenomenon. And sometimes we just get caught in the storm, and bad things do happen to good people.
Brother Chuck, the above is one of my messages from my website from September 27th 2005, you might recognize it.
We don't always have all the answers... I have prayed for several people with cancer that doctors said only had months to live.. and they are still here today, twenty years later.. I prayed for my wife and father, they both died... We don't always have all the answers, and I don't know how to answer you. I know that each time I pray for someone, I pray believing with all my heart... I prayed last night for a lady in her eightys. Doctors said she had congestive heart failure, a mass in her lung. She had fallen down and broke a hip, they were afraid she would't make it through the surgery.. Today she is recovering from surgery, her heart if fine, he lungs are clear, I will visit her tomorrow in the hospital and pray with her somemore.... I give God the glory, and never question Him, why He chooses to heal one, and not another... I really don't know how to answer you... I praise Him for all even if it's not the outcome I want... Sorry Brother Chuck, this is the best I can do..

I'm trying to leave alot of post alone but brother Renfrow wanted me to answer this one so I'll do it to the best of my ability. I believe one needs to take the entire Bible together when answering any Biblical questions. Sometimes God is being merciful when he doesn't answer our prayers. To let someone live more years in pain would be terrible. Also concerning the asking anything ....IMHHO I believe we need to also remember this verse. 1 John5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
Jesus prayed that the cup might pass from him...However "Not my will but thine"
Paul prayed that God would take away a thorn of the flesh in 2 Cor.12.THREE times. But God did not do it.because it kept him humble. God's ways are not like our ways. My back has been on fire with pain for 9 days .However; I will tell ya what.God has been able to speak to my heart easier with me laying on my back. I'm nearly better now.
Chuck Renfrow...we don't know all the answers but I will say many take scripture out of context and one needs to look at all the evidence .
God bless you and I appreciate our friendship,
Chuck7

Mr. Renfrow....I'm reminded of this verse. I know it's not the one you are looking for but it's the truth. Romans9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? All we can do is what we are doing brother...and that is pray and fast. I know God has heard our petitions. We do have the promice of Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God is showing some grace and love as He is touching others to pray for you .If we had an address I know there would be some who would send flowers. Remember when Johnny was sick.God used you to challenge the brethren send money. And God laid it on certain individuals to send him money. We really can't criticize the creator rather we needto make sure we can help be a healing/ solution to the problem. We are the BODY of Christ. We are HIs hands. We have His spirit residing in our lives to be a comfort to others. Sure..it's nice when God does the miraculous...but we need to be there to minister when things don't pan out the way that we would like them too. Chuck...I carry a bracelet I made from fishing line to remind me to pray for Nancy , Shirley and a few others who are in serious need. I love you and so does God my friend.
