Default To Whom It May Concern.....

I'm still around, and available if anyone needs to contact me. (it's pretty obvious that a lot (2 or3)of you missed me by the pm's I've recieved [8D]). I haven't been posting for two reasons: one, I just had enough of the arguing; and two, I've been super busy and haven't had time to follow up if I made a reply (and I hate doing that). As it stands, it looks like it's going to be a very busy spring/summer also. Glad to see Fro on the board more--maybe he can help keep ya'll in line.

Dad-gummit Leaf--I don't pout........I sull![X(][:'(][&o][:@]

Nothing wrong here--life is great!! I've just been so busy I haven't had time to get into any deep discussions, and I hate to do a post-and-run. My dad had surgery on hisinner ear Monday and came home Tuesday (it wenteven better than we expected). Got a dozen strings to finish tomorrow, 4 bows to pack and ship, 75 bows on order, a shipment due in any day, phone calls, e-mails, tournaments to get ready for, schedules to figure out, a hog hunt coming up in a week, broadheads to sharpen, arrows to fletch, need to makea spare string for my bow........and I really need to get in a few practice shots sooner or later.

Blew the day last Saturday and went to a shoot in Water Valley--it was cold and windy, but those of us with a shaky I.Q. went anyway. I drove nearly two hours to freeze my rump off and climb up and down hills with a gimp leg--loved it! Shot a scoring round and a fun round, averaged 86.6% on my scoring round, my son shot until his fingers hurt, my buddy took second place in the recurve class (he got beat by 4 points), saw several folks that I haven't seen in a while, and ate homemade chilli and deer stew. Now I'm paying for not staying home and working--gotta hump to get caught up so I can take next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off and try to put a stick with a sharp point through one of them GA rhinos.

I'm still poppin my head in here and there, but probably won't be posting much at all until I can slow down a bit.

Chad

Honestly Taz, I love what I do. My little business is just a hobby that grew a lot bigger than I ever anticipated. Unfortunately, I set it up as a hobby rather than a business--so I have a lot of fun with it, but there's not much money. Filed my taxes Tuesday night, and when it was all said and done I was $80-something in the red for the year.

God must enjoy archery, because I haven't missed a meal and my bills are paid, even though I didn't show a profit. Never intended to go full time at this, or at least not as soon as I did. Permenantly buggered my ankle 2 years ago yesterday, and haven't been able to work at a real job since. Doc told me to get on disability (actually he insisted), but the gov't didn't agree. I'm thankful I had my hobby to fall back on--if nothing else, it keeps me busy.

The hog hunt is just another blessing--I've been wanting to go on one, but it was never in my budget. A customer invited me (coincidently, he's a preacher--Baptist, I think), and two friends are going with me (they are on a tight budget also). The 3-day license is $30, we'll split the gas cost, camp when we get there, and eat sandwiches. I've already got the equipment, our host is also going to be our guide, and hopefully we'll be bringing home some meat. The guys that are going with me are two of my three best friends, so I know we will have a ball, even if we don't shoot at anything but pine cones!
