Default Todays Verse, Feb.06,06

Every day is a good day to lose yourself in others, and any time is a good time to see mankind as brothers.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34

Today accept others as they are. When you are friends with others, you are also a friend with Jesus.

Amen Reb...
I have to share this with you. I went to work this morning at 2:00 A.M. I was intending this morning when my glass man finished his job,to fire him. I've been using him and his dad for over 10 years. This kid "Gary" has got off into drugs and cost his daddy the business and ruined their relationship. Gary has gone to work for another company, which I am nowusing. I was going to call his boss and tell him to never send Gary onany of my jobs again.I like this kid but every time I use him, is extremely late and looks like he's been run over my a Mack Truck..
So today when he was finishing up, Istarted witnessinghard to him, and told him it was time to quit running from God. He invited me to shoot with him (he shoots 3D too) I took him up on his offer. On my way home I called my business partner and let him know he was not fired yet, and that I was going to plant the seed in this kids heart. After all, it easy to fire someone and never see them again, but how awesome if he comes around, gets saved, gets his life together, and starts to produce fruit...
Man I love God, and I going to let Gary see that in my life that he wants it too...
But like your verse for today, it all about love... Thanks Reb.

Rev., I post these verses because Our Lord want's us to spread His gospel and that's what I am inspired to do. It's like passing out tracts. Praying that others on here take the time to read them.
I'm happy to hear that you reconsiderd your thoughts on the Kid. Sometimes we can only help as much as we can and then it's up to the Lord, but we must witness and atleast show the Lord we tried as a Christian.

reb and rev, i am one of those folks that never understood why i should pray for my enemy, today i see things in a different light, thank you to all of you here that are willing to go the extra mile, i look at how many things i have messed up in my life and the people that were willing to forgive me, and the people that kept me in their prayers, and where i would be w/o them, while sometimes it is hard, it is the right thing to do, rev i have to tip my hat to you, sometime it is so much easier to "cut and run" than try to fix the problemand for that i commend you, i will keep you and "gary" in my prayers
