Correct me wrong the way to heaven is believeing in christ and having him forgive you of all your sins? Say you dye tommorrow you believe in christ but you havent asked for your sins to be forgiven. What happens then? Also how much do you ask forgiviness? I should ask more.

1.) The way to heaven is in having Jesus be Lord of your life. With this watered-down Christianity that so many people are preaching nowadays, there are bookoos of people everywhere who "believe" Jesus but yet do nothing. We must ask forgiveness and make him LORD of our life.
2.) If you die tomorrow, and you haven't asked to be forgiven of your sins, whether you "believe" in Christ or not, you will probably go to hell. The demons believe...but yet they aren't repentent, nor are they going to be in heaven. But, God is just, and I don't have a firm answer to that one.
3.) Ask forgiveness as much as you need to. I do believe in justification for believers...we don't have to constantlylive in fear of every little thing we do. We are blood-bought.If you say a cuss word in your mind before a semi flattens you on the highway, I believe that you can still make it.But, when we know that we sin, we should ask forgiveness.

its so hard with this day in age in which we live. there are so many things that can draw us from God. maybe the end is closer then we think. i am almost scared to death to think what hell could be like. on earth we could have an awasome life but deep in we could be an evil person and dont know it. now what i mean by awsome life is being rich. money is not everything in this life. here on earth power,money, women, etc make you a pretty bad dude. in heaven none of that matters. i want to do whats right so i can get into heaven. we should live more like the indians did. this day in life we focus to much on earthly things. in the end I may not be the smartest guy or the most good looking. once you died God is the one you have to face.

deerhunter if you are an evil person you will know it, listen to that voice inside you that tells you what you are doing or thinking is wrong or right, if you know what you are doing or thinking is wrong and you ignore the inner voice and continue to do what you are doing, then you are sinning and you know where that leads.

Nobody on this page can answer this for you. If you have to ask will I, then you have need to worry. And in worry, seek God. You have work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Also Matthew really puts things in context. There will be people that God will turn his back on and say he never knew them. They will tell God that they did miracles in his name. Now these people I would imagine believe.
But as Jesus says, if you want to follow me, take up your cross. Simply going around saying, "I believe" I don't believe cuts the mustard. But, But, I don't know.
I mean in some passages it discuss's, whoever believes shall have everlasting life. You take that one passage, then you are correct. But other passages point you to, what is believeing? Believing means pleasing God, and to please him, you need to obey his word. And to obey, you need to know, and to know you need to read and seek, the more you read, the more he will reveal to you, and the more he reveals, you better you know the will of God.
