OK..Of all the people in your life....who influenced you the most and tell us about thier character.
OK It was when I was about 20 . I was working in a factory on a die caster which had a huge pot of molten alumnum always at 1700 degrees. It was cherry red and 2 of us operated a machine that made the rotors on electric motors.
Well there was a holiness lady who wore long dresses. We were all fifty talking down there but when Juanita walked by we all shut up totally. She was beautiful, about 55 then with a glow of an angel. I never saw her eat. She would sit at that cherry red pot at lunch timeand speak maybe one sentence at me per week. Telling me I needed to surender my life to Jesus. She would say that and walk away. She was the inspector of our rotors. When I saw her sincere spirit she convicted me daily. I remember praying once in my heart..Please God..whatever it takes ..make me a Christian I don't want to go to Hell."During leave from the military, I ran into her and she rejoiced at knowing I was a Christian.

Honestly, no one influenced me into becoming a Christian. Thanks to the grace of God I grew up in the church. It's always been a part of me. So the church as a wholeinfluenced me. I've been saved since I was 7. Never dived deep into sin.
But, someone who has helped me the most in my Christian walk, has probably been my mom, my PawPaw (grandpa), and my District Youth Director. They've counseled me during decision making times. Prayed for me when I've needed them. And been good Godly examples for me to look up to.

My mother, if you want a person, the world was her church, she loved Gods creation more then anyone I know, the way she led her life. She passed twice during heart surgery and had absolutely no fear of death, she knew there was another side and did not hesitate to share her experience with any one that would listen. The Holy Ghost is what finally convicted/testified to me of the Divinity of Christ our Saviour.

My Dad, and yes, I agree, it was more by his actions than by his words. Although, his words were many!
Also, my brother. His actions are always reminding me of the straight and narrow. He walks in the light.
And my Grandmother, she was a consistant Christian. She had the gospel preached at her funeral to try and reach any friends or relatives that had not accepted Christ.

My grandfather that raised me did. I never heard him say one bad word. I never saw him get mad. I never saw him eat without praying, or go to bed without praying. All he did was good for others. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was an inspiration to me.
