Are we seeing these verses being fulfilled in our lifetimes?

Genesis 16: 11-12

11 The angel of the LORD also said to her:
"You are now with child
and you will have a son.
You shall name him Ishmael,
for the LORD has heard of your misery.

12 He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
and everyone's hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
toward all his brothers."

Muhammad traced his roots back to Ishmael while Jesus traced his roots back to Isaac.

Of Course that has being the problem for thousands of years.

Alex, I agree, but I temper that statement just a bit.

Generaly the world has understood that WW III will be fought between one ism or another.

The global market and the free-trade agreements the world is becoming to inter-locked and inter-dependant for the old reasons to fit very well.

Once the world sees their old enemy as a valued customer it will not make much sense to attack and drive him away.

The more the global economy become inter-locked the more apparent it will be.

The have and have nots will not be as well defined by borders, only by class.

The world will then focus on the remaining cause of strife and loss of commerce, even at this time most of the world by and largeviews only one religion as a serous threat.
