The other night was over at a friends house drinking there was about 7 of us. Someoneasked has anyone seen the movie brokenback mountain. I said, No I am not going to watch something that promotes gays. One of my friends came back with a comment "Am I raceist". Which I dont believethat Iam. A few of my friends think is stupid that I wont watch this movie.

Doesn't say much for your 'friends' Fred. I don't hang around negative people . I will have them over my house for dinner once in a while as a ministry but life is too short to hang around folks who speak words contrary to faith.

Bad company corrupts good character. But you won't hold much water speaking out of both sides of your mouth.
This is an observation.
Hmmm... it would be hard to persuade someone to say no to crack while smoking a joint!

I guess this is going to be non PC but I don't call them gay I call them *****s, I think tying names to someone like "gay" is very mis-leading and just another attempt to try and sugar coat something to get society to become more accetpable of it and it looks like it is working. Looks to me like the ***** movement in this country could have left the western heritage of this country alone, I will not watch it, matter of fact watching a ***** cowboy show would be right near the bottom of my list.

I haven't seen Strut get fired up in a while. Must of hit a nerve. I feel the same way brother. I've tried witnessing to them before. They honestly think God made them that way. I knew 2 personally. Both died with aids at a young age. There is hope though folks..I've also seen3 get radically saved. Where there is much forgiven there is much love. These3 are on fire for God. In 1978 I witnessed to Dale. I never knew he was a homosexual but he was. He brought his 2 friends to an on fire Church in D.C. The evangelist said" I sense God wants to set some homosexuals free." Now there was over 2000 in that service and we were sitting in the upper balcony. I kept my head bowed during the alter call and all 3 young men went forward and left there lifestyle at the alter.So...there is hope.

The Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin. Let's look at what it says.
[blockquote]
Lev. 18:22
, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

[/blockquote]
Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.

LOL Chuck, It just makes me sick to see what our country has become and what society has excepted. I don't hate the sinner I hate the sin.

I'm really concerned about our country and what our kids and grand kids will see and have to put up with if it continues, scarey to say the least.
