My wife went into the ER this morning due to chest pains and shortness of breath and we found out that she has a mass on her left lung. They won't do the biopsy until Monday so we have the weekend to worry about the worst. They also confirmed that she is 6 weeks pregnant, although we definately view this as a blessing you can see how this could cause difficulty in treatment if it were to be cancerous. My wife's name is Marit and your prayers would very much be appreciated.
I am so sorry to hear of your distressing report. I know that God is faithful and will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus! I will pray with you and th eothers as well.

Pike Tipper, My thoughts are with you and your wife. Although I can give you no assurances your worst fears will not be realized, I would like you to consider a few points:
1. Lung cancer is exceedingly rare in women of child bearing age.
2. Lung masses presenting with acute symptoms such as chest pain and shortness of breath and requiring a trip to the ER are more likely due to an infectious process than lung cancer.
3. Most lung diseases can be treated without harming your unborn child.
